Google Celebrated Sputnik- 50th Anniversary

Today Sputnik reached the mark of 50th anniversary. Google is very quick in celebration with suitable logo.

On October 4, 1957, Russia launched the first manmade Sputnik which means fellow traveler. The world’s first artificial satellite, about the size of basketball, weighted 183 pounds was first satellite to be placed in orbit.
