Are your desktop icons in Windows XP looking ugly with bordered shadows? You can easily remove them step by step by this following manner.
- Go to Desktop.
- Right click on the My Computer Icon and click the Properties option.
- In System Properties click the Advanced Tab.
- Click the Settings button under Performance area.
- Use Adjust for check the “Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop” under Custom option.
- Apply the effects.
Done !!
